Feminist Africa is a continental gender studies journal produced by a community of feminist scholars. The journal is peer-reviewed and open-access, and published twice annually on specified themes. It is currently published by the African Gender Institute, University of Cape Town.
Reviews of books, films and other cultural productions are an important part of Feminist Africa. Reviews are typically 1000-2000 words. We would like to increase the range of reviewers included in the journal, especially including more research students. To be added to our database of reviewers, please email Simidele Dosekun with information about the kinds of content that you are interested in reviewing, including any discipline(s). Please put “FA Reviews” in the subject line.
